If your inspiration is a real object or an image, the app captures those exact shades so your palette is rooted in something concrete rather than randomly produced.
How you assemble a palette
- Open Color Identifier and choose Live Camera or From Photo.
- Capture a color from an object, or tap a point in an image.
- Read its name plus Hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone.
- Save it and keep adding colors to the set.
So while it isn’t a random color palette generator, it gives you a deliberate way to grow a palette from sources you choose.
