Color Swatch

Capture any real color and keep it as a swatch with exact codes.

Capture a swatch from any real color

A color swatch is just a color you have pinned down so you can use it again. Color Identifier turns the shades around you into exactly that. Point your iPhone at a wall, a fabric, or a printed sample, or tap a point in a photo, and the app captures that color as a swatch with its full set of codes.

From shade to saved swatch

  1. Open Color Identifier and choose Live Camera or From Photo.
  2. Aim at an object, or tap the precise spot in an image.
  3. Read the color name plus Hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone.
  4. Save it, and you have a color swatch to reuse.

No guessing and no eyeballing — each swatch records the real value, so it stays consistent every time you come back to it.

Build a swatch collection

Group your swatches into palettes, organize them by project, and export or share the codes. Because the values are universal, each swatch drops cleanly into any workflow or paint range. Color Identifier is free to download, and your first swatches are free to capture.
