Color Identifier

Palette Generator

Build palettes from real colors you capture, each with exact codes.

A palette generator grounded in real colors

Most tools labeled palette generator spin out random swatches and hope they work together. Color Identifier takes a different path: it builds your palette from real colors you actually capture. Point at something, or tap a photo, and each shade joins a palette with exact, reusable codes attached.

How the building works

  1. Open Color Identifier and choose Live Camera or From Photo.
  2. Point at a real object, or tap a point in an image.
  3. Read the color name plus Hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone codes.
  4. Save it into the palette you are assembling.

Treated this way, the app fills your palette with colors you chose on purpose rather than guesses. This approach shines in a few places:

Organize, export, and reuse

A palette generator is only as good as what it saves. Group your captured colors, organize palettes by project, and export or share the codes. Because the values are universal, every color works with any paint range, design app, or document. Color Identifier is free to download, and your first scans are free.
