Palettes

Capture real colors and keep them organized as palettes you can reuse.

Palettes built from colors you capture

When people look for palettes, they often want sets of colors that belong together. Color Identifier helps you build exactly that from real life: capture the shades you like and gather them into organized collections. Every color you add keeps its precise codes, so your saved sets stay usable long after you create them.

Capture and collect

  1. Open Color Identifier and choose Live Camera or From Photo.
  2. Point at a real object, or tap a point in an image.
  3. Read the color name plus Hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone codes.
  4. Save it into a palette you are building.

Building a palette this way means each set reflects colors you chose deliberately. A few ways to put them to use:

Organize, export, and reuse

The value of palettes is in keeping them tidy and portable. Group colors by project, save each collection, and export or share the codes whenever you need them. Because the values are universal, every color works with any paint brand’s range, design app, or document. Color Identifier is free to download with your first scans free.
